Made in Painter 9 and Wacom tablet... references come from myself and sxc.

Okay, so here's a piece I have been working on for the past few weeks... and I shall never ever try to make clouds in a long long time. Took me so long to get them to look the way they are, I think it came out pretty decent.

In this work, we have one depiction of the Capricorn (goat like mythical creature), in this case symbolizing death. The constellation of Capricorn, in which the winter solstice theoretically takes place was called "The House of Death", for in winter all life in the Northern Hemisphere is at its lowest ebb. It is always above us, as opposed to many views showing hell / devil / death to be below. My personal touch here is the hands, now scythes as appendages, no real symbolism there, I just like the way they look :).

Blue is the key color in this piece.

Hope you enjoy it!

the scythes also save the trouble of doing hands!
but seriously, nice work, you did the clouds brilliantly

Shhh about the hands... that's a secret *shifts eyes*. But yes, thanks very much for liking it...

See you finally got your avatar to work all now, looks very nice. Ah the 15 kb limit, what a pain it is...

Your life story is equal to what you have plus what you want most in the world, minus what you're actually willing to sacrifice for it.

i had to remove an image, limit each fading sequence to something like 4 frames, and lower its to 16 colours... :shakefist:

Man, the internet just ate my comment...

Stupid 56 k connection. Oh, well. I'm too lazy to remember what I wrote, so I'll just say that I like, dude. I like a lot.
